Arnold Newman
Was born march 3rd 1918 in New York City, and passed away June,6 2006 in New York City.
Newman graduated high school in Miami Beach and attended the University of Miami studying painting and drawing.
Two years after, he moved Philadelphia, PA to work for a studio to making 49-cent portraits.
Newman returned to Florida in 1942 to manage a portrait studio in west palm beach florida.
Three years later he opened his own business in Miami Beach.
Newman relocated to New York, opened Arnold Newman Studios and worked as a freelance photographer.
1999 he was awarded the Infinity Award for Master of Photography,
2004 he also was awarded the Lucie Award for Outstanding Achievement in Portrait Photography.
